Oh sure we all rejoice when our adolescent years are over, thinking that we’ll have no more problems with blemishes. Did you know that menopause causes a kink in skin cell regenerations, where normally old skin cells die off and new ones are born? Since, during menopause, the body is unable to rid itself of the skin’s waste fast enough, with a combination of excess oil and dead skin, the pores become clogged and acne then develops.
